who we train
Professional training shaped around the work you do
Grief, loss and difficult conversations show up differently in different professions.
Supporting a grieving therapy client is not the same as helping a family arrange a funeral or guiding someone through financial decisions after a death. The principles may overlap, but the context, responsibilities and conversations are different.
That is why we develop training around the work people actually do.
Our courses are available to individual professionals developing their skills, as well as teams and organisations looking for wider training. If you are responsible for staff development, wellbeing or professional learning, we can adapt our existing training to reflect the work your people do.
This might include:
Live online or in-person training
Webinars and conference sessions
Self-paced digital learning
Bespoke scenarios and role-plays
Supporting resources
Programmes combining live and recorded learning

Don’t see your area of work?
These are the sectors for which we currently have dedicated training pages, not the limits of who we can work with.
If your work involves grief, loss, neurodivergence, suicide prevention or difficult human conversations, start a conversation with us. You do not need to arrive with a finished training brief. Tell us who the training is for, what they are encountering and what you would like them to feel more able to do. We can explore how our training can be adapted to fit your setting.

COUNSELLORS AND MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
Grief does not always arrive in therapy neatly labelled as grief. It may be tangled up with identity, neurodivergence, relationship endings, estrangement, life transitions or experiences that other people have failed to recognise as loss.
Our CPD accredited training connects grief theory with practical therapeutic work. It is designed for individual counsellors, psychotherapists and mental health professionals, as well as counselling teams and services.
FUNERAL PROFESSIONALS
Funeral professionals meet people during some of the worst moments of their lives. Conversations may involve shock, traumatic or unexpected deaths, complicated family relationships, neurodivergence and very different ways of expressing grief.
Our training helps funeral professionals understand what may be happening beneath the surface and communicate with greater confidence and care. It’s suitable for individual funeral professionals, independent funeral homes and larger organisations.
FINANCIAL SERVICES PROFESSIONALS
Grief and money often meet when people are least able to think clearly. Bereaved clients may be dealing with cognitive overload, urgent decisions, family tensions and unfamiliar processes. Their communication needs can also be shaped by neurodivergence.
Our training helps financial professionals handle these conversations with greater understanding and confidence while continuing to provide clear, practical support. It can be adapted for individual advisers, client-facing teams and financial organisations.
