In 2024 I got my first tattoo during a huge turning point in my life. It’s the lyrics to Times Like These by Foo Fighters.
I was just emerging from an oppressive environment, one where I’d felt small, silenced and disconnected from who I really was. Leaving that space was terrifying and freeing all at once. The tattoo was my way of marking that shift, claiming my freedom, and reminding myself that starting over is messy, but possible. Learning to live on your own terms, in your own skin, is the kind of radical rebellion that helps us grow into who we really are.
Maybe you’re in one of those seasons yourself. A time when everything feels uncertain. When you’re questioning what’s next. When you feel a bit lost in your thoughts, your relationships, your work, or your sense of who you are.
I get it. Life doesn’t come with a manual, and being human can be seriously hard sometimes. Therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about having a space where you can be honest, feel heard, and begin to understand what you need. It’s somewhere to untangle what’s going on, make sense of change, and reconnect with yourself.
A big part of my work is supporting people through life’s transitions, whether they’re chosen or unexpected. That might be the end of a relationship, becoming a parent, changing careers, navigating burnout, adjusting to illness, caring for someone else, experiencing loss, questioning your identity, or letting go of the future you imagined. Every transition asks something different of us, and no two experiences are the same.
These moments can feel overwhelming, lonely, confusing, or strangely hopeful. Sometimes they bring all of those feelings at once. You don’t have to make sense of it all on your own. I’m not here to tell you how you should feel or rush you towards a particular outcome. I’m here to sit alongside you, help you explore what’s changing, and support you in finding a way forward that feels right for you.
Whether you’re in the middle of a major life change, living with anxiety, feeling stuck, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I’m here for that. No judgement. No pressure. Just real conversations, at your pace.
We can make space for the messy stuff and find a way through it together. Not perfectly, and not all at once, but one step at a time.
If this sounds like something you, or someone you care about, needs right now, drop me a message. The first chat is free. It’s simply a chance to see whether we’re a good fit.
It’s times like these, time and time again….
